Below is a list of some Internet related companies and their major
shareholders. The shareholder figures were taken from prospectuses filed
with their S-1's. At least someone is making money on the Internet. The
underwriters haven't determined the price on Netscape's IPO yet. Based on
the market capitalization of Spyglass, Netscape should have a valuation
greater than the Gross National Product of Bolivia.
Tuesday July 25th was a slow day for our millionaires. In total the market
capitalization of the Internet companies only gained $71 million. Some
days it doesn't pay to get out of bed.
